Nursery
At First UU, we cherish the youngest amongst us. Nursery care is available for children from birth to age 3 every Sunday from 9:15 am until 12:15 pm, and for most classes and events.
The nursery is staffed by experienced childcare providers, with occasional help from church volunteers. Upon entering the nursery, children are greeted by colorful surroundings, toys, books, and music. They spend their time exploring individually or with guidance. The class occasionally does group projects and enjoys playing on our nursery playground.
Family members may stay with their children in the nursery to help them feel more comfortable in their new surroundings and, of course, may drop in at any time.
We ask that you bring a change of diapers and any special items your child may need. You will be asked to sign in and provide contact information in case the teachers need to reach you while your child is in the nursery.
