The Liz Garrison Memorial Award is a one-time award given each year. The recipient will be a promising youth who will be bridging into young adulthood. The award may be used for any purpose related to launching into life: first-apartment expenses, purchase of a car, equipment and supplies to begin a trade, college tuition, etc.

The award is given by Jean Daniels and the late Ed Garrison in memory of their daughter Liz. The award will be given based on financial need to a young person who possesses qualities that were important to Liz: a compassionate nature and a deep interest in service and social justice, including LGBTQ+ rights.
